Copper Cove Association would like to notify all members that current lake water conditions may present potential water quality concerns. If you choose to swim or participate in other water activities, you do so at your own risk.

Members are encouraged to stay informed by monitoring updates from the Tri-Dam Project and to use their best judgment when recreating on the lake.

]]> Tri Dam SHORELINE MANAGEMENT PLAN https://www.coppercove.org/copper-cove-owners-association/tri-dam-shoreline-management-plan/ Thu, 11 Jun 2026 14:43:49 +0000 https://www.coppercove.org/?p=27047 Tri-Dam is currently conducting a review and update of the Tulloch Reservoir Shoreline Management Plan (SMP) in accordance with Article 411 of the Tulloch Hydroelectric Project license issued by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

As part of the revision process, Tri-Dam is providing a 30-day public review and comment period for agencies, stakeholders, property owners, and interested members of the public to review the draft revised Shoreline Management Plan and submit comments for consideration prior to final submission to FERC. The review process is intended to provide transparency and allow for public input regarding the proposed revisions.

Comment deadline is June 17, 2026.

There will be a Town Hall meeting at Copper Fire on Main Street in Copperopolis hosted by Amanda Folendorf, District 4 Supervisor.

Rich Martin will have a short educational presentation covering home hardening and Firewise insurance discounts, understanding FAIR Plan, defensible space requirements and Firewise community updates.

Troy Vickers with Phi Cares will have a presentation in regards to affordable protection against air medical expenses.
