The upcoming Open Board Meeting will include discussion of the  Kiva Launch Ramp Committee, as well as opportunities to add amenities to Black Creek Park that will enhance the experience for the Copper Cove community.

The Board will also discuss needed repairs and improvements to existing amenities at the Kiva. These discussions will provide an opportunity to review current needs, consider potential improvements, and determine appropriate next steps to maintain and enhance these facilities for public use.

Some cyanobacteria (also known as blue-green algae) have recently been observed in Lake Tulloch Reservoir. We want to reassure our community that water samples were tested for cyanotoxins, and no toxins were detected in the samples tested.

Copper Cove Association would like to notify all members that current lake water conditions may present potential water quality concerns. If you choose to swim or participate in other water activities, you do so at your own risk.

Members are encouraged to stay informed by monitoring updates from the Tri-Dam Project and to use their best judgment when recreating on the lake.

As part of the revision process, Tri-Dam is providing a 30-day public review and comment period for agencies, stakeholders, property owners, and interested members of the public to review the draft revised Shoreline Management Plan and submit comments for consideration prior to final submission to FERC. The review process is intended to provide transparency and allow for public input regarding the proposed revisions.

Comment deadline is June 17, 2026.

There will be a Town Hall meeting at Copper Fire on Main Street in Copperopolis hosted by Amanda Folendorf, District 4 Supervisor.
