Annual Director Election

The association was able to hold the adjourned annual meeting on November 14th to finally conduct the ballot tabulation for the 2020 director election.

In the first attempt to hold the election, quorum was not reached by the meeting deadline. 510 ballots were needed for the original 25% quorum requirement but only 369 legally cast ballots were received by the inspector of elections. The association bylaws allow for adjourned annual meetings to reduce quorum to 15% or 306 ballots, which was already met. We notified as many members as possible to vote if they had not already and received an additional 151 ballots to reach a total count of 520 which is pretty typical for this association.

There were two seats opening up this year held by Mary Braly and Mike Butterworth.  7 candidates threw their names in the hat and the two that came out on top were Mary Braly and Sheldon Toso. Mary has a couple years experience on the board and over one year as the President. Sheldon has a an expansive background in community association management. The Board Members section of the website will be updated very soon where you can find out more in their bios and we are adding a way for members to contact the board members directly as well.
