Some background to the process: After your new Board was seated in November, they made the decision to empanel three Board members. These Board members tackled the herculean task of revising the document supplied to the previous Board.
They met on November 23rd, December 5th, December 12th and December 17th and spent approximately 12-14 hours going through the document. While using member and committee concerns many changes and deletions to the document were made.
It is the Board’s hope that members will take the time to review this document noting the revisions as well as the rational used. Please keep in mind that laws have changed in the 50 plus years since the original document was written.
It must also be noted that Legal counsel has had the opportunity to review this document to ascertain the legality of the document.
The Board is looking forward to your input at the soon to be scheduled Town Hall Meeting or you may provide a letter to the office and it will be passed along.
