Updating the Governing Documents Needs Your Input!

As everyone is well aware, the Association is working on updating the Governing Documents and we have recently made the draft documents available to the Membership. Based on the feedback we have received from several concerned Members, it is time to help clarify the process and goals of this major change.

These documents are being distributed before the ballots are mailed because we would like to hear what the Membership has to say about the changes and what they feel this Association needs to be responsible for. We are holding Town Hall Meetings at the Black Creek Hall on June 6th at 5:00 PM and on June 26th (time TBD) so that the Members can get clarification on many of the updates or changes to the Governing Documents. Any feedback, suggestions or questions should be submitted in writing to the Black Creek Office for the Board to review and decide if the changes are in the best interest of the community. We need your input to ensure that these documents reflect how the Membership believes this Association needs to be run.

The ballots will not be sent out until the Board of Directors have heard what the Membership wants to see added or removed from the new documents. If your point is valid enough to broadcast across social media then it’s definitely worth an email to the office so it may be reviewed properly. No member will be left out of this process as long as they are willing to communicate with us.

This is your Association, be a part of it!
