Dear Members,

Please be advised that Lake Tulloch is now closed for recreational boating until further notice. A press release has been issued, this closure is not limited to Copper Cove Association this closure is and has affected all HOA’s surrounding Lake Tulloch.

Picnic Tables for Sale

The Association is in process of replacing all of the picnic tables (with benches) located at Black Creek Park and the Kiva recreation area.

If you are interested in purchasing the old picnic tables as they become available, the cost is $50. Each member is limited to one table to purchase. Tables are limited to first come first serve.

There is no guarantee as to the condition of the table you will receive. The tables were originally over $900 and are solid but may require some restoration such as rust removal and paint, etc.

Once we have received your form and payment, you will be notified when your table is available. We are only accepting checks or money orders as payment. NO credit cards.

Pick-up will be at Black Creek Park between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm Monday thru Friday. Delivery is not available.

CLOSED Kiva & Black Creek Park

Black Creek Park and Kiva will be getting a new look, the parking lots will be closed September 19-23, 2022. Ken’s Asphalt will be performing the work, his crew will be replacing the asphalt at both parking lot locations. We expect this work to be completed by Friday September 23, 2022. Kiva Boat Ramp Closed

As you know we are coming into the summer season, the staff and maintenance are working diligently to prepare for the busy season. The association will be putting sand in the lower part of the Kiva day use area, the boat ramp will be closed to accommodate the delivery of the sand it will be closed at 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday April 11, 2022.

Copper Cove Homeowners Association is hiring for two positions.

We are hiring Kiva staff both part/full time positions are available for the summer season. The office is looking to hire a part time office assistant Monday through Friday.

New Kiva Pedestrian Gate to be Installed

A new pedestrian gate with a key card reader will be installed this week at the Kiva primarily for the safety of Copper Cove members. The gate is also required since the association has instituted a new electric gate card system replacing the old remote gate opener devices for the gates at the Kiva and Black Creek Park. With the new system, a pedestrian has no way to exit the Kiva Park since the automatic gate opener is triggered only by a vehicle.

The new electronic card system reduces operational costs for the association membership with the replacement of the much more expensive remotes. The remotes cost the association approximately $22 a piece but the new cards cost much less or about $3.00 each. The new gate construction begins Wednesday and is scheduled to be completed by Thursday evening .
