Bert Soske, a long time resident of the Copperopolis and member of the Copper Cove Association, has been appointed by the CCA Board of Directors to fill the unexpired term of Doug Oliver. Doug resigned last week because of a conflict of interest in serving on the board with his new job.
Bert has experience working with board of directors and management while with Co-op Markets of Palo Alto and in other positions. He began his career in 1970’s at the Great Oaks Water Company. The company provides water to thousands of residents in southern Santa Clara County. In this position he had contact with consumers and the company’s operations.
He also has extensive experience in running grocery stores in both northern and southern California. His management experience will be a real asset to the association. Welcome aboard Bert!
