Signal Hill Clean Up Continues: How to Clean Up Our HOA

The effort to clean up the abandoned property on Signal Hill Road is moving ahead with the removal of thousands of pounds of junk from the interior and exterior of the home. The home was the home of numerous wild cats and other creatures but has now been boarded up to prevent entry.

The removal of all vehicles will begin shortly and then the question of the home’s future will be decided by its owner, a bank. There is a

possibility to could be razed since it was the site of drug production and other pollution over a prolonged period of time.

We have included some before and after photos. The Copper Cove Association has worked closely with the Calaveras County Sheriffs Office and Code Compliance to begin to clean up properties in the association. If citizens spot a problem in the community they can file a complaint anonymously with the County Code Compliance. Click here for the form.

The vast majority of our members take pride in their properties but there are some that exhibit little concern about their properties storing old cars, and littering yards with old building materials and other junk.  All of this reduces the property values of adjacent properties. We all have a responsibility of keeping our properties clean and neat in respect for our neighbors.

The Copper Cove Association is committed to building our neighborhoods and the relations between all of us. We need to work together to fight crime and other forces that would damage or weaken our community.
